CCP Orientation
Description
This mandatory virtual Zoom session is for new College Credit Plus (CCP) students taking classes on our campus or online. You will be able to register for summer or fall classes after you attend this meeting. During this session students will learn college policies and procedures, various college databases and how to schedule a meeting with an Academic Advisor to register for classes.
Before you complete your registration check to make sure you gave us the correct email address. A confirmation email will be sent out within a half hour of your registration. Please look for this email in the account that you included on this registration. The Zoom link will be sent to this same email the day before the session. If you do not see the emails make sure you check your junk or spam folder.
Questions & Answers
Once you attend CCP Orientation you will make an appointment with a CCP Advisor to register for classes.
We do expect you to be on a computer for this session. We will be doing a slide presentation with important information that you need to see on a larger screen.
If you have two years of high school completed with a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 2.75, you will most likely not need to take the Accuplacer. If your GPA is below a 2.75, we can evaluate your ACT scores if you have them. If you do not have the GPA or ACT requirements, then you will need to take the Accuplacer test.
